remember back when videos used to tell a story? not anymore. the video for kingdom is as low-budget as you can imagine (nothing wrong with that, it's just a bit of a surprise for someone who pays anton corbijn a massive amount of money for a basic rendition of an hourglass) and there's no plot to it (this is the wrong bit). how dave gahan agreed to do this video for his first single is a mystery to me. no wonder they disabled all possibility of comments in youtube for this one. oh, and the song is OK. I'm sure there are already 2 or 3 dance mixes somewhere.
