quién recuerda a viviana gallardo?

el sábado 18 de noviembre fue, como es costumbre, el día del exalumno en el liceo franco costarricense. todo relativamente bien organizado (aunque no fui a la cena porque ir hasta allá 2 veces en un mismo año es sacrílego) aunque faltaron más actividades de entretenimiento (como es posible que no hubiera música por ningún lado) y no vi a ninguno de mis excompañeros. sin embargo, este post es para quejarme abiertamente con el colegio por olvidarse completamente de una figura que, por sus actos aunque no muy cívicos, marcó un hito en el país y hasta en la corte interamericana de derechos humanos. por ningún lado se mencionó a viviana gallardo , probablemente en su tiempo más famosa que jacques sagot , luis ángel castro y la chavala aquella que canta ópera que solo los que saben saben dónde está hoy en día (todos honorables exalumnos del franco, quienes rara vez lo admiten y sobre los cuales no había ni un pie de página). tristemente, viviana terminó solo como un relleno de suplemento do

It was 20 years ago; I had been living near/in London for the past 6 months and was close to leave for France for a similar length.
